Hi all,

Orbx has released some new sceneries and a new library update.

I'm pasting the full info :

YBAS Alice Springs Airport Released

Welcome to "The Alice".

Located in the geographical centre of Australia, the city of Alice Springs makes up 12% of the total population of one of the sparsest regions on earth, Australia's Northern Territory. Straddling the usually dry Todd River on the northern side of the MacDonnell Ranges, the area is a spectacular setting for an airport with a vastness and diversity in the landscape which is ever changing with the time of day. Using the latest technology to capture pristine digital imagery direct from the aircraft to hard disk, the scenery also includes a 5m elevation mesh to really define the ridges splitting the township. Developer Jerry Smith was given full airport all areas access for photos. For those who love their outback, YBAS is the perfect base, and it is fully NGX compatible too!
  • Ground imagery in 15cm and 60cm/pixel
  • HD textures on all airport buildings
  • Accurate layout from photos taken onsite
  • Fully compatible with FTX AU Traffic 3.x
  • Gmax poly runways and aprons
  • Entire Alice Springs township included

YMMB Moorabbin Airport Released

Complete The Melbourne Set.

Orbx's fourth Melbourne area airport after YMML, YMAV and YMEN is YMMB Moorabbin (Harry Hawker) airport, a general aviation airport for light aircraft located in Mentone, Victoria. The airport grounds are treated as their own suburb designated the postcode 3194, and it is the third busiest airport in Australia by aircraft movements. There are a large number of hangars and buildings in the precinct, and also an industrial estate adjoining. Everything is in place, immaculately detailed and beautifully modelled. W52 Goheen Airport Released

A hidden gem.

This airfield is so well integrated into the Pacific Northwest landclass that you will have trouble locating it using the naked eye alone. We challenge you to do circuits in a low and slow bush plane and nail the approach every time. Alex Goff is the Orbx developer who has made a charming typical southern Washington airfield that is not far from other Orbx classics like Walter Sutton and Stark's Twin Oaks. Using on-site photos and a large photoreal area expertly blended into the surrounds, you will fall in love with the rustic feel of Goheen. Points of interest include an old gas station, nearby farm houses, a quarry, an extensive riverscape, parklands and a large car holding area to the north of the airfield. Add NatureFlow and lots of vegetation for a lovely dirt strip feel!
  • Ground imagery at 60/15cm per pixel
  • Beautifully modeled airstrip and surrounds
  • Classic gas station & nearby houses modelled
  • Rustic and charming river and rural setting
  • Includes a large blended photoreal area

0S9 Jefferson County International Released

Burgers At The Spruce Goose Cafe.

This airport is well known in the PNW pilot community as the home of the Spruce Goose Cafe, one of the the best spots around for a $100 hamburger; or better yet, one of their legendary slices of pie! Also located on the field is the Port Townsend Aero Museum (home to a wide variety of classic GA aircraft), Tailspin Tommy's maintenance shop, and a multitude of hangars built over the last 70 years - each with its own unique character.

In fact, that's what makes J-Co (as the locals call it) so special: it's character. This is an airport absolutely brimming with personality; where classic aircraft are the rule instead of the exception, hangar stories are still told with gusto, and the mystique of aviation hangs heavy in the air. It is a pilot's airport - the place to go for fly-in BBQs in the summer, a warm cup of clam chowder in the winter, and at all times, a place to meet friendly folks who share your passion for aviation. You will not be disappointed in 0S9!

  • Ground imagery at 30cm per pixel
  • Fully custom modeled airport and houses
  • FSX gmax poly runway, aprons and lights
  • Beautiful coastal location
  • Includes all the new Orbx "Flow" technology
  • Includes Indian Island Naval Reserve
  • Expert 5 seasons color matched imagery
  • Beautifully modelled static aircraft
  • Includes custom GA AI Traffic movements
  • Directly opposite 2WA1 Diamond Point
  • Expert 5 seasons color matched imagery
  • By Scott Armstrong, Alex Goff and Heiko Glatthorn
