The Flight Simulator Network

A Different Approach

Be vary carefull if you are buying any thing from http://www.captainsim.com/ as if you download their aircraft to see if they work they will not refund you once you activate them. Im operating Vista home and they will not work ! They even ask that you take a refund BUT THEY SAY THAT THEY MIGHT NOT WORK SO I TRIED TO SEE BUT IT DID NOT INSTALL CORRECTLY,SO TOO BAD .

Seems to me that they really don't know what they are selling people, so don't let this happen to you . I guess they like making money knowing that there products don't work all the time leving you with nothing but 76.00 in the hole !

Thanks for the heads up... I trust you have sent them a copy of your post to them. Getting bad press on a flight sim network should ruffle thier feathers... If any captainsim staff reading this (yeah right) well don't expect my custom.

Hi Brian,
I have a few of CaptainSim aircraft, I use Vista 64 Bit and the aircraft, 757,767 work great. So, maybe you need to contact them with specific information as to what the issue is. Failing this, and you can not work it out, if they will not refund you, simply contact your credit card provider and cancel the payment.
Regards
Geoff

Ive had a few planes that dont work when you run FSX in DX10 mode, other than that, the only bug bear that i have with addon planes is that none of them come with a "try before you buy" tab. That way if i dont think the plane/panel etc is good enough, then i wont buy it.

Thanks guys for your response and information. I'm usually not this agressive but like Gordon stated it would be nice to try before you buy instead of having to download something that might not work with no recourse.
