FSX start up error, fix need URGENTLY

i cant sort this out. Its been working fine till this morning when this came up on the fsx spalsh screen. When i press abort fsx closes. Its very annoying. i cant start fsx at all now. Ive also tried the repair option on the disks. it doesnt do anything

You may want to contact them also about your problem. Sometimes add-on packs and some add-ons can cause your FSX to fail.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Widar Thorstensen on January 2, 2010 at 9:43pm: Go to C:\programdata\microsoft\fsx and look for your scenery.cfg file open it with notepad and see if it's opens.
If it dos and it looks OK then copy it to another location and copy the latest scenery_cfg_before...... also to another location then rename the one in the C:\programdata\microsoft\fsx folder to scenery.cfg start FSX again.
You will lose the scenery addons installed after the time and date of that file.; ▶ Reply to This
